HOW TO APPLY

WHO CAN APPLY?

  • Short-term students are students studying at the University of Tartu up to ten months.
  • International short term students (commonly referred to as visiting/exchange students) are offered accommodation in the Student Hostel located at Raatuse 22, Tartu.
  • International short-term students planning to study at the University of Tartu can apply for accommodation in the Student Hostel as described below.
  • Short-term students and visitors from other universities can also apply, but we can only offer places if there are vacancies left over from the students of the University of Tartu.

APPLICATION PROCESS

NB! The start date of the contract is 27.08.2024 which is the arrival date suggested by the University of Tartu. 

Before submitting an application make sure to familiarize yourself with the living conditions, services, prices and terms of the residential agreement! 

You will receive a confirmation e-mail along with your E-kyla login information when you have successfully submitted your application.

If your application is successful, you will receive an accommodation offer. We will notify about the offer via email. You can either accept or decline the offer by logging in to the E-kyla system here.

You will receive the deposit invoice after accepting the offer, the payment deadline is in 7 days. We suggest making the payment right after receiving the invoice.

If you do not pay the deposit within the deadline, then the accommodation offer is cancelled. 

When we have received your payment, we will send you the accommodation confirmation via e-mail.

You can move into your room from the beginning date of your contract. You can receive the keys from Raatuse 22 reception, which is open 24/7. After your arrival, an email will be sent to you with instructions on how to sign the residential agreement.

NB! The students will sign a fixed term residential lease in line with their official period of studies at the University of Tartu as indicated in the university’s admissions notification.

CANCELLING THE ACCOMMODATION

If you need to cancel your reservation, please contact us by email info@campus.ee

If the reservation is cancelled before the contract begins, then the deposit will be
refunded in full amount (bank transfer fees will be deducted).

If you do not arrive  to the Student Hostel within the first 14 days of your accommodation period (indicated in the application) or do not inform us of your later arrival, the reservation will be cancelled.

Please inform us via email info@campus.ee, when your arrival to Tartu needs to be postponed.
